Friendship Circle provides meaningful assistance and support to individuals with special needs and their families through engaging recreational and social programs. We rely on the kindness and dedication of our volunteers, who generously give their time and resources to make a difference.

Together, we work to enhance the lives of individuals with special needs and those facing isolation by creating inclusive opportunities that empower them to become valued, contributing members of the community.

One of our long-term programs is our Children’s Hospital Visits, which bring moments of happiness to children who need a smile to help them through a difficult time. Friendship Circle, together with a team of kind-hearted volunteers and professional clowns, superheroes, and princesses, visits children’s wards in hospitals across Cyprus.

During these visits, volunteers entertain and interact with the children, helping them momentarily forget the pain and challenges they may be facing each day. Through laughter, play, and imagination, we aim to add joy and brightness to their hospital stay.

We also warmly encourage parents, family members, and hospital staff to join in the fun. Our clowns delight children with balloon creations, while superheroes and princesses spend time talking, playing games, and creating magical moments that lift spirits and bring comfort to everyone involved.

Our Hospital Care Campaign:

  • Takes place 3-4 times a month, at various hospitals around the island.
  • Putting together a group of volunteers and professionals to entertain and interact with hospitalized children, brings some much-needed joy into their hospital stay and a heart-warming glow to the parents.
  • We visit the oncology unit, where children with serious conditions stay.
  • These children may have been there weeks or even months, as they are in such a frail condition, they cannot leave. Giving the gift of love, and seeing their faces light up, makes it all worth it for us.

Support is urgently needed to continue our life-changing work. Can we count on you to help these special children?
